Fodey allows teachers or students to create newspaper headlines and articles. Teachers could use this website to create a news article introducing students to a topic, or have them read what looks like an actual article from the past. Alternatively, students could be assigned the task of writing a newspaper article about a topic they have just learned. This could serve as a summarizing activity at the end of a lesson.

You can use Classtell dot create a great website for your classes. You can post assignments and other information in order to keep students and parents up to date with what is going on in your class. You can even set your account so that it will send out an email anytime you update the website. Students can check for assignment information and due dates, etc.

Quizizz is similar to Kahoo!, but I think you and your students will enjoy it more! Your questions and answer choices can be longer in length. The questions appear on your students phone or tablet, as well as your computer screen/smartboard.
You can use Quizizz as a formative assessment tool by utilizing the analysis functions that are available. You can see the questions that the students missed and adjust your teaching to ensure that all students are learning what needs to be learned. |
